Every post on this blog begins with "I haven't seen you in a while." That's a bit embarrassing. That being said, I haven't seen you in a while! Let's catch up.
This is going to be a very thorough post detailing what I've been doing all this time. At the end, I'll lay out some plans and explain where I'm at now, so if you're only interested in what's coming up, just scrolllll down. Feel free to skip around to what interests you, otherwise you'll be here a while.

It's been a while. I've been sailing the high seas, searching for adventure. But now that I'm back it's time for some updatin' to do! I'm going to talk about the show I started and what the hell I've been doing these past months.
You have most likely seen that Back to the Future meme by now, so I won't post the picture again. But I would like to remind science that they have about nine months to invent commercial hoverboards, flying cars, and self-tying shoes. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go watch the Back to the Future trilogy. Those are some of my favorite movies. Anyway, the typical thing to do at the turn of the year is to make a bunch of resolutions everyone will break in two weeks. I don’t do resolutions because they’re bound to fail. If I don’t make resolutions, then I never break them! I’m such a rebel. What I’m going to do instead is look at what worked last year, what didn’t work, and develop a plan for the year from that.
Ah, it's that time of year again. The snow fails to come out in Southern California... Christmas music begins playing on the radio... everyone stocks up on egg nog and then realizes how much they don't like it after taking a sip... yes, it's finally winter. What? Christmas? No, sir/madam, happy Thursday to you. It's Thursday, and all that matters is updating my blog.
Hello, everyone! Since winter break has started, I no longer have the excuse of college to explain my disappearance from this blog. Which means I should get back to it. Erm... haven't seen you in a while. Of course, things are only awkward if you make them awkward. And I went there. Now, let's talk about what's been going on recently.
As summer is closing up and my first weeks in college are about to begin, I am starting to feel like doing videos again. Which is ridiculous because I should've been doing videos all summer. Feel free to scold me in the comments. At least I'm doing a blog entry on time! This is actually the first productive thing I've done today as I reluctantly pull away from watching Rhett & Link videos. I'm going to talk about how my inspiration and drive works today, a sort of peek into my mind. Are you ready?
I think I've already mentioned this about 5 or 12 times already but Douglas Adams is the one person I am close to worshiping. He has such an amazing way with comedy. Fun fact: Douglas Adams climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in a rhino costume for rhino conservation. See? He's an awesome person already. Anyway, the thing picture majig below is a quote from him that basically describes me.
IT IS LIKE 11:00 AS I WRITE THIS I MIGHT MEET THE THURSDAY DEADLINE but most likely this will be published on Friday or somefin :( But is it really Friday? I don't know about you, but it's not officially "tomorrow" until I've slept. It can be 3:00 am on November 2nd and I'd still say it's November 1st if I was awake at that time. I feel like everyone does this and it's a big "EFF YOU" to the rules of time but I don't care because if this is the case then time is only relative, right?
It's late, don't judge. Also I feel like the baby in above picture is British. Welcome to my blog. I'm surprised you're actually reading this.
So how this is going to work is that I've chosen Thursday as my "social media day." This means Thursday is the day to check this blog for updates and cool things. If I've posted something before Thursday then I won't update the blog. It's as simple as that! |
The Epic BlogtimeThis is where I'll post updates about upcoming projects/things you should check out/things that I'm doing. Archives
